The Line Cook plays a key role in preparing and serving quality meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position can be full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals following established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure meals are nutritious, well-presented, and served at proper temperatures.
- Accommodate special dietary needs (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, texture-modified diets).
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the dining and caregiving teams to ensure excellent resident experiences.
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (healthcare or senior living a plus).
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
